I Have Concerns with a Recent Repair

All repairs include a 90-day limited workmanship guarantee from the pick-up date, covering only the specific area serviced — not new or unrelated issues.

To properly evaluate the concern, we will need to inspect the item in person. If repaired in-store, contact that store directly; if mailed in, complete the contact form below and our Guest Support Team will follow up.

While we do our best to keep you updated throughout the process, some repairs require additional time. In certain cases, we may need to:

- Order specific stones or materials to properly match your piece
- Send the item back to the original vendor or designer for repair (which can take up to 12 weeks)
- Perform detailed or specialty work that simply cannot be rushed
- Our goal is always quality craftsmanship and care — because your jewelry deserves the time and attention needed to be repaired correctly.

FAQ

Why are my repair costs higher than they were in the past?

Repair pricing is based on the current cost of the materials and labor required to complete your repair. As the market value of precious metals and other materials changes over time, repair prices may also change. Because pricing reflects current market conditions, we are unable to match the cost of repairs completed previously.

My jewelry is covered under the We Will Diamond Guarantee. Can I purchase a Protection Plan?

No. Protection Plans must be purchased at the time of your original jewelry purchase and cannot be added later. If your jewelry is covered under the We Will Diamond Guarantee, you can continue to receive its benefits by maintaining the required inspections. For jewelry not covered under a warranty, repair services are still available for an additional cost.

When replacing a stone, will it be the same quality?

Yes. We are committed to replacing gemstones with stones of like kind and quality, so your repaired piece closely matches its original appearance. Because we carefully source stones that meet our quality standards, the replacement process may take longer than originally estimated.

I've had multiple repairs. Does that mean my jewelry is defective?

Not necessarily. Needing multiple repairs does not automatically mean your jewelry is defective. Some styles and settings are more delicate and may require periodic maintenance due to normal everyday wear. The design of the piece, how often it's worn, and daily activities can all contribute to the need for repairs over time.

Why doesn't my jewelry look like it did when it was new, even after repairs?

Over time, normal wear can change the appearance of your jewelry. Repairs are completed based on the current condition of the piece, with the goal of restoring its structural integrity and making it suitable for continued wear. While we always strive to preserve its original appearance, years of wear may result in a piece looking different than it did when it was new.

Why is my watch repair taking longer than expected?

Watch repairs are completed by the manufacturer's authorized service center or an approved repair vendor to ensure quality workmanship and the use of the correct parts. Repair times depend on parts availability and the complexity of the repair, so they may take longer than originally estimated. Because the repair is managed by the authorized service provider, we are unable to expedite the process or guarantee an earlier completion date.

What is a Buyout, and why am I being offered one?

A buyout is provided when your jewelry reaches the repair limit defined by your Protection Plan. Once that limit has been met, additional covered repairs are no longer available, and the plan provides a buyout instead. Please refer to your Protection Plan Terms & Conditions for complete details.
