This medallion features Medusa, one of the monstrous Gorgons that has living snakes in place of hair. In Greek mythology, those who gazed into her eyes would turn to stone. The Medusa is a symbol used to protect from and ward off the negative, a dangerous threat meant to deter other dangerous threats. Here, she is crafted in 10 karat yellow gold and surrounded by 1/2 carat total weight of round cut diamonds and encircled by the Greek key symbol. This medallion is 26mm.
